
Aurélien Acquier (PhD, HDR - French habilitation for doctoral supervision) is Full Professor of Strategy & Sustainability in the Department of management.
His research deals with the integration of sustainability and social responsibility issues in complex organizational forms (transnational corporations, network organizations, platform capitalism or sharing economy). He is member of the board of AIMS – the French speaking International Association for research Strategic Management. His research has been financed by public sector bodies such as the European Commission or the French Ministry for Sustainable Development. He is the author of several articles (published in Journal of Business Ethics, Business & Society, management, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, etc.), volumes, chapters and communications to international conferences.
He created and manages the option "Rethink: alternative business models, social innovation and sustainability"
He graduated from ESSEC Business School with an M.Sc. in management. He also earned a joint M.Sc. in organizational theory from University Paris-X, ESCP Business School, Ecole des mines de Paris (PSL) and Ecole Polytechnique and a Phd degree from Mines PSL. He holds a french Habilitation for Doctoral Supervision - HDR - from IAE - Paris 1 Sorbonne
